Mason got an AWESOME birthday present! He Got to meet Terrence “Mount” Cody!!!! The guy who saved our game against Tennessee on our way to the 2010 BCS National Championship. Not sure if he got to meet the rest of the team or not…

A Yummy cup of pop pop's cocoa

I am visiting my Ma Jo and Pop Pop and most nights Pop Pop has offered to make me a cup of hot chocolate…it is downright yummy stuff with cocoa, vanilla, cloves, and 1/2 inch of coffee creamer…some nights we talk, some nights we watch television or movies, and other nights we sit in the recliners and each work on our computers…but every night we enjoy each other and the cocoa

trust me folks he can make something besides “fried cornflakes”

Hey, it’s your birthday and I just wanted to tell the few readers I have on this blog what an awesome young man you are. I told you on here last year that there are days that I love you dearly and days that I just want to strangle you, and while both of those are still true I have found over the past year that we are learning to trust each other more and more and we are reaping benefits from that whose value is hard for me to put into words. Know this, here now and forever….while I may not approve of some of the decisions that you make, or things that you do…I love you dearly and ALWAYS WILL. You are my brother and there is no changing that.

I go to school with this young man’s older brother and I am just thrilled that Scott was given this honor…

It makes me happy to see that these days students in high school are including those with special needs in all the festivities and even giving them time in the spotlight…
