The Freshmen Invasion
Okay so all this week I have been here on campus at Ferrum College training to help the Freshman Class get acclimated to their new surroundings, today they arrived. There are so many of them and so many had three main problems that I had the opportunity to assist them with:
1. Where is the bathroom? My Answer: Just down here on the right!
2. Where is the Post Office so my son/daughter can get his/her mailbox key? My Answer: Just down here at the Subway (we have a Subway Sandwich shop at our school) take a right and then when there is a large opening on your left there will be a window there and a nice lady should be able to help you 
3. Someone from the Financial Aid table in there (Panther’s Den just to the rght of where I am sitting) said there is a problem with my son’s / daughter’s financial aid package and we have to apply for another loan, can you help me do that? My Answer: No ma’am I really cannot assist you with that, but there are two computers available in the next room that you can use. If you need to print anything feel free but I’ll need to come get it off the printer for you as our SGA has some private forms that are printing at a pretty steady pace on that computer today.
